Dean met Wayne whilst co-hosting with Trisha Goddard on her popular daytime TV show on Five. Wayne had no job and no real prespect of getting a job due to having a chequered past.
However, Dean saw an entrepreneurial spirit within Wayne and a determination to achieve great things and to be able to suppport his girlfriend and baby.
